Brent Bunger has served as Executive Vice President since 2009 and has been significantly involved in leading the strategic direction of property and asset management including, policy, initiatives, technology, financing, acquisitions and dispositions. He is actively engaged in the company’s operations, procurement and renovations. Brent was instrumental in the launch of Adara Communities and its vision to become the leader in the multi-family industry. He is committed to improving technology in order to advance operational efficiency and better adhere to best practices and industry standards.
Brent previously served as the Vice President of Business Development with Adara Communities among various other roles with its predecessor. Prior to joining Adara Communities, Mr. Bunger worked for CharterMac Mortgage Capital (Centerline Capital) in their CMBS and Agency multi-family loan underwriting division. Other previous employment positions focused on operations analysis and acquisition underwriting. His prior professional experience involved assets in the Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida, California, New Mexico, Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and international markets.
Brent graduated with honors from Texas A&M University CC with a BBA in Finance with a minor in Real Estate. He holds a real estate brokerage license in the State of Texas, has been an active Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) since 2007 and is member of the National Multi Housing Council.
Cindy Cappi serves as the Vice President of Contract Management and oversees all aspects of the creation, oversight and implementation of the vendor contractual process. In addition, she leads our company’s efforts in resident relations and compliance. Cindy is an accomplished individual offering over twenty-five years of successful experience encompassing all aspects of multi-family property management within the Greater Houston and other Metropolitan areas. Her novel approach at mentoring and training team members has produced some of the industries brightest operational stars. Cindy also ensures compliance with corporate established goals and objectives, and investigates and resolves contract, resident, and service issues.
Prior to Adara, Cindy was involved in new project start-ups, acquisitions, and multi-million dollar rehabilitation projects. Her areas of expertise include: fiscal budgeting, development and administration, safety and risk analysis, procurement, contract negotiations and administration, and supervision of personnel.
Cindy holds accreditations as Certified Property Manager (CPM) as well as Candidate – Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS).
Colleen Dean joined the Adara Asset Management team in 2009 and has been responsible for all aspects of asset management for Adara Communities since 2011. Colleen’s responsibilities include supervising the management of pricing platforms, asset valuations, and acquisitions. She also actively contributes to both the operations audit and property operations teams.
Prior to joining Adara Communities, Colleen’s real estate experience began working as a senior analyst/underwriter for the Hanover Company in their Capital Markets department. While employed at Hanover Mrs. Dean contributed to multifamily and mixed use developments.
Colleen is a graduate of Tulane University with a Masters in Finance and Bachelors in Accounting and Finance.
Michael Harger is recognized among peers, residents, and team members as an effective problem solver and trusted advisor with an eye for understanding ROI, economic occupancy, and NOI growth among other big picture aspects of property management. Michael remains focused on the core values of property management- Service, Our Employees and Our Customer. Known for his ability to captivate an audience through comedic delivery of information, he has been able to combine his operational and marketing talents to build and train solid goal-focused teams across the United States. Michael passionately promotes the company’s new culture and branding initiatives.
Michael has been a marketing-focused, residential property management professional for over eighteen years. Prior to Adara, his expertise included supervising over a ½ billion dollars in assets within the Texas, Florida and Ohio markets specializing in marketing outreach techniques and turning around underperforming assets. Chosen as the “go to” person to launch new urban, high-rise, mixed-use and suburban properties, he is an innovative risk-taker who embraces new approaches to property management with an unwavering focus on resident satisfaction.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in Marketing with concentrations in Advertising and Economics.
